Dear Manager,

I visited your establishment recently and was disappointed.  Were you aware that your business is not accessible to people with disabilities?  You may even be in violation of the ADA, Americans With Disabilities Act, passed in 1990?  I found problems in the following area(s).

1. ___________________________________________________

2. ___________________________________________________

3. ___________________________________________________

The ADA has been in effect since July 1990.  It is in your best interest to be in compliance with the law.  If you need help determining your necessary renovations or changes, please contact your local ADA coordinator (in the phone book under Country Services).  If you have any other questions, please feel free to telephone me at (____)____-_____, or contact DAHRT - Disabled Americans Have Rights Too - (206) 241-1697.

People with disabilities would like to patronize your business, but we cannot until accessibility changes are in progress.  I sincerely hope that you will take immediate action to begin accessibility improvements without the intervention of the Washington State Human Rights Commission, the US Department of Justice, or an ADA attorney.  Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.  I look forward to the positive changes you will be making for ALL of your patrons.

Sincerely and Accessibly yours,
